The Youth Ministry at St. Paschal Baylon is a dynamic and faith-filled program dedicated to supporting the spiritual growth and personal development of young people in our parish community. Rooted in the Gospel and inspired by the example of our patron, St. Paschal Baylon, the ministry seeks to empower youth to live out their Catholic faith boldly and joyfully in today’s world.
Mission and Vision
Our mission is to accompany youth on their faith journey, helping them develop a deep and personal relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, community, and service. We envision a vibrant youth community that embraces the teachings of the Church, fosters leadership, and actively participates in parish life.
Programs and Activities
The Youth Ministry offers a variety of programs and activities, including:
Weekly Gatherings: Opportunities for prayer, reflection, fellowship, and faith formation in a safe and welcoming environment.
Retreats and Camps: Spiritual retreats and faith-based camps designed to deepen relationship with God and strengthen community bonds.
Service Projects: Engaging youth in acts of charity and social justice, fostering a spirit of compassion and outreach.
Sacramental Preparation: Supporting youth in preparing for the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist, helping them understand and embrace these important milestones.
Special Events: Participation in parish-wide celebrations, youth pilgrimages, and other events that nurture faith and friendship.
Leadership and Support
Led by Youth Minister Mr. Kristen Emata, the ministry is supported by a team of dedicated volunteers, catechists, and clergy who are committed to nurturing the faith of young people. Together, they create an environment where youth feel valued, heard, and inspired.
